Solar Return Observations #2🌻💛

🌼💛Just an update so far, I have a 5th house stellium in my chart this year and life has felt so carefree. Life made me get rid of my old crush and made me focus on myself for a while(Pluto) until just friday I met someone new unexpectedly(Vertex). I havent felt this feeling in almost 3 years its really exhilarating feeling like this and I actually have a good feeling about it. It felt like I was meant to cross paths with him at this point in my life right now because im actually focused on my higher self. I feel that Vertex along with other major planets like the Sun, Mars, Mercury, Pluto, and POF made meeting him feel fated because for one ever since Ive met him ive consequently crossed paths with him multiple times in just the span of 3 days. Its not a deep connection however(5th house) but I hope to beat the odds and make something out of it. So overall, Ive had lots of fun, peace, and new interests in love.
🌼💛So I recently just discovered this, but you can go and find your monthly/daily transit chart and overlap it to your natal or solar return chart to see how your school, career, family, or love life will be. I was wondering why was it that I never got the opportunity to meet someone in matters of romance but i did multiple times in friendships and then I saw that in my transit charts I never had Venus in the 7th house until last month. Venus had always been in like the 11th, the 10th, or the 3rd and school and friends was what was constant in my life. Sometimes even having Venus in the 8th can mean a change in your love life. I even looked all the way through 2022 and 2023 and all 12 months there was not one placement of Venus/Mars/Moon in the 5th or 7th until my transit chart of Febuary 29. Venus conjuncted Mars in the 8th and what happened? I saw the new guy who was exactly my type and I found interest in him. My next transit will be March 30 with Venus, Saturn, and Neptune in the 7th, and Mars conjunct the descendant. Im hoping that things will go well and I can get the courage to talk to him but we'll seeee.
🌼💛Having Jupiter in the 1st just means your whole year will be filled with luck youll just have things fall right into your hands.
🌼💛Uranus in the 9th house is lowkey feeling lost on what path you should take regarding school or just feeling disconnected from school in general. I have this right now and ive been having trouble locking in on my school work and i dont know how i want to plan my schedule for next year. Im just going with the flow atp.
🌼💛Venus in the 4th house means your family will spoil you and make you feel loved.
🌼💛Ok so im not really liking the attention ive been getting from having Lilith exactly conjunct the Ascendant. It feels like every where i go theres been men staring at me creepily and theres this guy on the track team who keeps touching me and crossing my boundries and personal space and it makes me so uncomfortable. Its so grimy and I hate it.
🌼💛Look at the dominant planet and see what house it falls in. Last year i had a dominant planet of moon and it fell in the 12th house conjunct mars. All imma say is that last year was one of the worse but strengthening years for me mentally.
🌼💛Venus in the 9th house means you’ll probably get a chance to travel. I had it in the 4th degree and i went to California from Texas because of a wedding on my moms side.
🌼💛Ive noticed that Vertex in the 5th doesnt always necessarily mean youll meet someone, it just means that youll get a lot of opportunities to go out and have fun.
🌼💛Saturn in the 6th/10th means standing on business.
🌼💛Chiron in the 5th may be a year where you feel burnt out. Make sure to take a break.
🌼💛Moon in libra will beautify a relationship depending on whatever house its in. Ex- first house: your appearance, 3rd: your relationship with siblings, 5th house: with your romantic partners or your inner self. It could also mean you feel romantic this year and could even have more opportunities given to you to express those feelings.
🌼💛7th house Neptune means having dreamy fantasies about people you wanna date. Could have your head in the clouds or you can just have high hopes regarding this area. Could be spiritually calming regarding partnerships but you can be manipulated and gaslighted too if your not careful.
🌼💛Venus in the 10th means being called beautiful all the time during that year. So many strangers used to stop me in the hallways to tell me I was pretty that year.
🌼💛Chiron and Neptune in the 1st means not being able to see your beauty.
🌼💛Venus or Jupiter in the 2nd means splurging on skincare, makeup, and clothes.
🌼💛Having Chiron in the 4th is not fun lol. Could mean family problems, struggling to feel at home when youre at home, and having trouble having a safe space.
🌼💛Leo Ascendant years will make you feel popular.
🌼💛Venus in the 6th could make you follow health, beauty, and workout routines or it could oppositely make you feel lazy and not wanna do anything. It also means feeling comfortable at work or find a interest at work.
🌼💛In 2020 when covid hit I had Saturn in the 5th house and it makes so much sense looking back. We were forced to be isolated and I couldnt go out because of the lockdown. Dont get me wrong though I still had alot of fun with my family but I feel like my middle school experience wouldve been alot different if that hadnt happened.
🌼💛Having a Cancer Ascendant back in 2015 was when my older cousin got married and that was a big event for our family that girl spent almost a 100k on her wedding. She was the first to get married out of the kids in the family. Even having Cancer degrees in the chart will mean change or some significant event in your family life.
Thats all for today hope yall enjoyed:)

Saturn Return in Pisces in each house 2023-2026
Saturn Return in Pisces in each house 2023-2026
(Sat in Pis dates 1935-1937; 1964-1967; 1994-1996; 2023-2026)
for those who have Saturn in Pisces in their natal chart, their Saturn Return is in progress or upcoming.
Saturn entered Pisces on March 7, 2023, since that time, we have been dealing with many feelings of the collective unconscious brought about by hardness, trying to teach us something, but everything is so difficult to be seen in a practical way, which ends up turning into pain, rather than quick learning and practicality.
This is because Pisces is not a sign of practical life, it is sign of the unconscious, of contact, of feeling; that is why, on Saturn, we have difficulties in understanding what needs to be done in order for us to evolve, to mature.
There are many lessons... but the focus of this post is not to talk about collective issues, but the individual issues that the natives of Saturn in Pisces are going through in their SATURN RETURN. at another time I will speak of the impacts on other beings, who do not have Saturn in Pisces in the natal chart, but have Pisces on planets/asteroids, or at least on the cusp of some house, if it is not intercepted.
let's go?
Saturn Return
marks a significant moment in people's lives, it's the moment when Saturn's energy, in an archetypal way, is brought to our life with great intensity, so that we REMEMBER. While in other years you have been experiencing other Saturns, in other signs, here, you come home.
And it's the moment when you are led to reflect on what you did during those 23-24 years, what happened, if something has changed; if you matured, if you learned something about your difficulties, that is, about what you already had to deal with inside.
Saturn is the planet of discipline, planting, watering, harvesting, learning, it represents structures, ethics, order.
On the natal chart, Saturn will mean the importance of learning something that is DIRECTLY connected to the sign and house we have there. It's not a mere fatality, no wonder. The natal chart represents our soul lessons, what we have, what we don't have, it represents who we are. Therefore, as I explained on another post here, the natal chart is not a mere record of your birth, which happened to happen that day. The day you were born is extremely special and matters a lot for understanding YOURSELF.
Soon, your sign and house in which Saturn is found in the natal chart will represent the biggest core of your difficulties.
Saturn in Pisces is the difficulty of putting Piscean issues into practice. It is the need to mature with Pisces, to mature like Pisceans.
Lessons:
- Empathy - Recognize your true essence - Appreciation of vulnerabilities, yours and others - Recognize and appreciate the sensibility - Look deeper, deeper and deeper into the different situations of life - Learning to look at what is deepest in yourself, your personality - Acceptance of your unconscious - Greater contact with your creative and fluid expression - Release more, control less - Less attachment to practical life and routines, and development of greater inner contact
Things a natal Saturn in Pisces needs to transform:
- Escapisms of any kind - Poor processing of your emotions - Fear of opening up to others, for leading or being led to believe that there is no value in opening up - Constant isolation that does not bear good fruit - Hiding your true vulnerabilities - Feeling unworthy, especially unworthy of help - Understand why you feel so inadequate and lost, without a true place in the world - Why would spirituality and/or inner contact be useless to you?
Before we start, I would like to explain that Saturn is the planet that brings us the most learning precisely because it is the planet most connected to the meaning of our life on Earth.
Life is primarily about evolving, growing, learning, and if it is about that, and Saturn talks about it, when he appears, he is not shy, he makes noise.
Saturnian experiences never go unnoticed. On the contrary, they always leave marks. If we are all here to learn, the difference will be in how we learn. If the lessons are quite evident from the natal chart, the difference will be whether we learn them through acceptance, active participation, or through escape, and sometimes, through pain - which we end up indirectly generating by not taking responsibility for what we do. We need to evolve.
Saturn Return in Pisces in 1st house: this Saturn Return primarily represents learning the Pisces experience, but in a healthy, harmonious way, especially in your individual experiences, you-you. this Saturn Return touches your experiences with self-esteem again, it's a moment when you find yourself reflecting MUCH more on what you've done in these last few years to assume who you are. Saturn in Pisces in the 1st house in the natal chart represents a fear, a block about assuming who you really are to others, in a deep way. you have probably lived/live pruning your more creative, sensitive sides, your more introspective side, you can be rigid with yourself in these aspects, as well as in others Pisces aspects. now is the time to review what has been done so far to assume the truth of who you are, to unlock fears and blockages in relation to acting, showing yourself and living in a more creative, sensitive, open, intuitive way. another issue that is being revisited/revised at the moment is how much you don't work on your self-esteem in a profound way, it may be that you live on autopilot, in an automatic cycle in which you don't realize yourself, don't understand who you are deeply, just live in a way more automatic. Saturn is making you reflect on this, within your reality.
Saturn Return in Pisces in 2nd house: The Saturn Return in Pisces in the 2nd house brings up life's lessons about how much you can have practical difficulties with stability, comfort, self-worth, personal values. Saturn in Pisces in the 2nd house translates someone who has difficulties with money, a sense of self-worth, everything that involves something earthly and practical brings confusion and difficulties to the person. it may also reflect a person with difficulty in empathy, altruism in relation to personal possessions. with this Saturn Return, we have the return of the greater lesson of self-worth, learning to value yourself more deeply, not seeing material things just for what they are, seeing the meanings that lie behind possessions, of the money. it is important to develop a more stable view of yourself and life.
Saturn Return in Pisces in 3rd house: Those with Saturn in Pisces in the 3rd house have difficulties communicating in a deeper, more creative, and sometimes even empathetic way, depending on the person we are talking about. there may be a block in the way of expressing yourself. internal, creative, deep issues can’t flow through speech and other forms of communication. the lesson that the Saturn Return brings is in the sense of making you review which actions contribute to increasing this difficulty in communicating in an empathetic, open, creative, sensitive way. the Return can also make you realize what generates this, or even the effects of a little Piscean communication. It is possible that in this Saturn Return you also understand the value of seeking more Piscean learning and exchanges, with more creativity, openness, empathy, altruism, connections.
Saturn Return in Pisces in 4th house: This Saturn Return is all about revisiting your inner blocks, especially in terms of emotions and inner life. how disconnected and blocked have you been from your emotional issues? how is your relationship with your home (physical and abstract home)? are you more connected to practical life, routine, practically living on autopilot, without realizing the real motivations of your feelings? it's a Return that makes you face a lot everything that involves emotions, family, home, roots, past, interior life.
Saturn Return in Pisces in 5th house: this Saturn Return brings important lessons in the area of Creativity, Ego, Empathy as a personality trait, Love, Affective expressions. Saturn in Pisces in the 5th house of the natal chart means a lot of difficulty for a native with creativity and expression of what involves Pisces in his individuality. 5th house is ego, expression, art, creation. much of what involves creating, expressing, is connected to the 5th house. as Pisces is also a sign of creations, especially abstract creations (music, for example), a person with this placement has blocks with light, loose expressions. everything seems to be very hard, serious, closed, without lightness, creativity, without color. it is necessary to learn to integrate / develop Piscean characteristics in your personality, in order to have a more fluid life, without so much control, methodism, excessive practicality that, in the end, can be generating cycles of being overly self-demand, perfectionism and even self-punishment. this Saturn Return increases the importance of you working on empathy for yourself, the one that is also embedded in the Ego and that is transmitted to others, because it is something that you already know from the inside. in love, the Return of Saturn in Pisces in the 5th house represents learning to give more voice to sensitivity, and especially to understanding how your unconscious and your past impact your current affective expression. find yourself.
Saturn Return in Pisces in 6th house: Those with this natal placement have difficulties putting Pisces into practice. therefore, expect reflections on: the routine life, your organization, habits, which may be lacking in Piscean gestures and actions. all these things will come to the fore with more intensity. it may be that the person has immense difficulty including relaxation and self-care practices in their daily lives. natives may have difficulty disconnecting from things, often living full of stress, psychosomatizing what they think, what they deal with, due to the difficulty of integrating Pisces into their routine and daily life. Pisces wants and knows the importance of disintegrate, clean, connect, let go, release, escape. Saturn in Pisces in 6th house represents big difficulties with this. we’re talking about a person who needs to take a lot more care of mental health and how much the unconscious affect the physical body. don't sacrifice yourself.
Saturn Return in Pisces in 7th house: the Saturn Return in Pisces through the 7th house marks a great learning experience that involves sacrifice in relationships, sensitivity and empathy in relationships, how much you face yourself in your relationships, how much you require yourself or is required. considering that you have this placement in your natal chart, it is something that will touch you much more, after all, it reflects who you are. this moment bring a lot of inner sensitivity, a lot of revisiting things from the past, however, it can be difficult to practice. Is there balance between giving and receiving? do you demand more and give less? do you give too much, and receive less? how is the balance within your relationships - [which are not restricted to love, ok]? it is also a time to review your openness to truly connect with those around you, without fears of being vulnerable. they are lessons for your life.
Saturn Return in Pisces in 8th house: a Saturn Return deeply connected to spirituality and invisible issues - from you, like your personal unconscious, your mind, your inner issues, or something much bigger. you naturally have an issue with truly opening yourself up to the unknown, by the way, I'm glad you're here reading this and I honor and value your choice. thank you for the opportunity. for you, it's hard to trust the unknown, it's like a breath of uncertainty that you'd rather not hang on to. however, Saturn has been trying to make you review and revisit this, understanding that spirituality, mind, personal unconscious, everything that is dense, deep, unknown, none of this will generate the feeling of being controlled if we are open to FEEL. the biggest lesson of this placement involves control... controlling emotions, experiences, sensations. especially the unknown experiences. issues of difficulty with intimacy may increase during this period. recognize your depth and give voice to it.
Saturn Return in Pisces in 9th house: Saturn Return that touches a lot on your beliefs and faith system. faith even in humanity, in existence. it will be a time to revisit your internal difficulty of trusting, letting go, believing. you may be a person with difficulty connecting with bigger things, who tend to want proof, to understand everything mentally. and probably you believe that this is the best way. but probably it frustrates you, mentally drains you. because is not just about rational mind. we can also experience connection, feel, believe and let go. it's a time to deeply review your belief system, your values, life philosophies, and revisit what you've been doing these 23-24 years in order to mature in this difficulty.
Saturn Return in Pisces in 10th house: this Saturn Return meansreview empathy and expression of your sensitivity/vulnerability in the social arena, in professional life, career. it is a Saturn Return that is also all about finding yourself and understanding your life path. it is a time to finally accept that your sensitivity, creativity, empathy, and everything that involves Pisces, needs to be integrated in a balanced way in your career and professional life. it is necessary to understand that having sensitivity and assuming it to the world does not make anyone weak, quite the contrary, it is a true strength that needs to be used in favor of larger, social issues, or for individual issues that are still relevant, for example, follow and achieve your life path.
Saturn Return in Pisces in 11th house: moment when Saturn returns to make you review your fears of being vulnerable in groups, as well as review your sensitivity issues with the collective. Is your vulnerability experienced collectively? if not, why are you afraid to open up to others? Does your mind point you to any reason for that? Do you struggle with empathy and sensitivity to social issues? or, on the other hand, are you extremely sensitive to others, but hide that face, for fear of criticism, judgment? all these points will be much more touched at this moment, when Saturn returns to bring the revisitation of what still affects you and stops you from experiencing a lighter and more fluid life in society.
Saturn Return in Pisces in 12th house: this Saturn Return is deeply related to learning to integrate Pisces energy into your life. those with Saturn in Pisces in 12th house are always running away from facing themselves, but the things that need to be faced, on the other hand, keep coming up. they come again and again – by the way, in quite abstract ways. this Saturn Return involves learning to CONNECT, let go, trust, stop trying to understand everything through the mental, logical, rational way. and understanding that the more you escape, the more the things that still need to be transformed will be felt in incomprehensible, abstract ways. take care of your mental health, connect with yourself. accept your personality. accept your vulnerability.

‼️🚨‼️If you have the same ascendant in both your tropical and sidereal natal charts AND Saturn is in the same sign in both charts…
Then your Saturn Return will last approx. 6 years 🪐
The reason why is because Tropical astrology operates one zodiac sign ahead of Vedic astrology.
For example:
Let’s say you have a Leo ascendant in both your tropical natal chart and sidereal natal chart AND you have Saturn in Aquarius in both charts.
In Tropical astrology Saturn was in Aquarius recently from March 2020 until March 2023.
However, in Vedic astrology Saturn was in Capricorn during that time. It wasn’t until January 2023 that Saturn entered Aquarius in Vedic astrology and won’t leave Aquarius until March 2025.
This means that transiting Saturn is activating 2 different houses in your tropical and sidereal natal charts at all times.
So after you experience your Saturn Return in your tropical natal chart, it’s going to be prolonged for another 2-3 years because transiting Saturn in Vedic astrology will then enter that same sign in your sidereal natal chart.
If you have a different ascendant in both your tropical and sidereal natal charts and Saturn is in a different sign in each chart, then you’ll experience your Saturn Return in your tropical and sidereal natal charts at the same time.
For example:
I have a Virgo ascendant in my tropical natal chart and a Leo ascendant in my sidereal natal chart.
Saturn is in Scorpio in the 3rd house in my tropical natal chart.
Saturn is in Libra in the 3rd house in my sidereal natal chart.
I had my Saturn Return during the same time in both charts.
In Tropical astrology Saturn was in Scorpio from October 2012 until September 2015.
In Vedic astrology Saturn was in Libra from November 2011 until November 2014.
There was a bit of overlap but my Saturn Return was happening at the same time in the same house in both charts, just different signs.
If you need help figuring out when you’ll experience your Saturn Return and how it’ll change your life (for the better!) then DM me for an affordable Saturn Return reading 🥰

Notes & Dates: Neptunes 165 Year First & Eclipse Season
This year and this month are unique.
The outer planets bring in a lot of Mars-driven fire energy, and shockingly eccentric, air duality energy, while the eclipses provide massive energetic packets of both emotional spiritual exploration & routine-based, grounded health analyzation.
Neptune enters Aries at the end of March for the first time since the 1880s. Back then, impactful historical events including industrialization, the Vatican council declaring the pope unquestionable, Karl Marx’ communism, the “Great Binge”, plus the American Civil War and slavery abolition took place. Aries Neptunes war-of-the-spirit energy was joined at the time by Gemini and then Cancer Uranus’ energy of shocking duality and nurture vs. passive-aggressive leadership energies. This year, karmic co-ordinator Saturn enters war God Aries & odd tech king Uranus enters mental-manipulator Gemini. They’re further noted below.
Eclipse season starts with a Virgo lunar eclipse on March 14th, while we’re already on the Pisces / Virgo (spiritual & material service and health) axis of the nodes (bringing the lessons of the past into the skills and talents of the future).
The month also ends with an Aries solar eclipse March 29th, which ends the Aries / Libra series which began April 2023. Take a look at how your personal patterns have (or haven’t) evolved since then. This is an opportunity for closure around partnerships, themes of diplomacy and justice, and whether we lead ourselves boldly, confidently and correctly, or act out of unwise impulses such as aggression.
The Pisces / Virgo axis begins a new series of eclipses where we’ll need to analyze cosmic details and bring them properly into more grounded, material reality which is more well informed by spiritual wisdom.
(Don’t fall for the fear mongering that goes along with eclipse season and with the retrograde fears people are strapping on Mercury and Venus. Retrogrades and eclipses are not rare. Retrogrades give opportunities to redo and improve some of the energies [by degree] of the previous signs they were in. Eclipses are heightened full and new moons which provide energies for about 6 months each. You see how through transits, including those with your natal charts.)
The years last two eclipses are in Pisces and then Virgo. More on the eclipses and the years outer planet shifts in their own posts.
~
Dates & tips for outer planet shifts & eclipses this year:
Virgo Total Lunar Eclipse (New Moon) - March 14th, 2:55 AM EST, with moon switching to Libra at 2:59 PM EST - set sleep intentions through visualization before bed, for regular overall healthy life patterns, as waning gibbous Libra moon is better for diplomatic & just emotional balancing, plus release and harvest.
Aries Partial Solar Eclipse (Full Moon) - March 29th, at 6:57 AM EST - Balance the impulses by leading oneself confidently through the breaking of unhealthy patterns, then celebrate goals achieved or get physical exercise through the difficulties of patterns one was unable to break.
Neptune in Aries - March 30th, 2025 to March 23rd, 2039 - Truth vs. Illusion, and patient intuition vs rash action.
Saturn in Aries - May 25th, 2025 to May 1st, 2028 - Duties, responsibilities and structures of how we physically take action. Uranus in Gemini - July 7th, 2025 to May 23rd, 2033 - Shock involving duality, innovation & tech.
Pluto in Aquarius - until January 19th, 2044 - Social and political endings.
Pisces Total Lunar Eclipse (New Moon) - September 7th, 2:09 PM EST - A time to recognize the unlimited potentials of spiritual love and begin to see how this can transform our intuitive and emotional patterns.
Virgo Partial Solar Eclipse (Full Moon) - September 21st, 3:54 AM EST - As energy involving habits and health peaks, look to the details to celebrate the smallest of wins one can find.

Welcome to the Shadow of the Eclipse
October 4-31, 2023
Some introductory notes
The “shadow of the eclipse” is a time period lasting from 10 days before the first eclipse, to three days after the final eclipse. It is recommended not to start anything new, or schedule anything important, during these days - as usual I refer everyone to the 1981 wedding of Lady Diana Spencer to the Prince of Wales, as an example.
Of course we live in a place/time which scoffs at letting astrology help with the timing of events - therefore don’t lose hope if something falls unavoidably within the eclipse shadow. Just be prepared.
I wanted to take a more thorough approach to delineation, this time. I hope it’s helpful.
South Node Solar Eclipse
A solar eclipse happens when the New Moon lies close (in the Zodiac) to either the North Lunar Node, or to the South one. It occurred to me to do a little research on whether which Node is involved, makes any difference - and yes, it does.
Astrologers call the South Node “the dragon’s tail” - Steven Forrest calls the South Node, “the dragon’s butt” - because here we are “pooping out” what we don’t need and can’t use. (One person’s poop, however, is another person’s fertilizer.)
Eclipses conjunct the South Lunar Node, like the October 14 one, have an outflowing (outpooping?) of energy. They tend to feature external events which we have to “rise up to.”
If you’d like to note how these have affected you in the past (always a good idea to check “what happened last time”), here is a list of the previous South Node solar eclipses in this century:
December 14, 2001, 22°56’ Sagittarius
December 4, 2002, 11°58’ Sagittarius
November 23, 2003, 1°14’ Sagittarius
October 14, 2004, 21°06’ Libra
October 3, 2005, 10°19’ Libra
September 22, 2006, 29°20’ Virgo
September 11, 2007, 18°25’ Virgo
August 1, 2008, 9°32’ Leo
July 22, 2009, 29°27’ Cancer
July 11, 2010, 19°24’ Cancer
June 1, 2011, 11°02’ Gemini
July 1, 2011, 9°12’ Cancer
May 20, 2012, 0°21’ Gemini
May 10, 2013, 19°31’ Taurus
April 29, 2014, 8°52’ Taurus
March 20, 2015, 29°27’ Pisces
March 9, 2016, 18°56’ Pisces
February 26, 2017, 8°12’ Pisces
February 15, 2018, 27°08’ Aquarius
January 6, 2019, 15°25’ Capricorn
December 26, 2019, 4°07’ Capricorn
December 14, 2020, 23°08’ Sagittarius
December 4, 2021, 12°22’ Sagittarius
October 25, 2022, 2°00’ Scorpio
October 14, 2023, 21°08’ Libra
Going down that list was a very uncomfortable trip down memory lane for me. When those South Node eclipses affected me, it was generally a harbinger of some difficult “external event” which I had little to no control over - which is not the same thing as saying “it wasn’t my fault.” I brought some of it on myself due to bad decisions. Some karma chickens coming home to roost, in other words. Not all of them were dire, though. One in particular gave me something of a respite from what had been happening in my life - it was conjunct my natal 12th House cusp.
Saros Series “7 South”
This eclipse is part of Saros Series “7 South.” Bernadette Brady writes,
The individual experiencing this series will find that huge obstacles will suddenly and easily clear or, on the negative side, a pending potential crisis will suddenly manifest and move through his or her life very rapidly. Either way the individual will feel that everything is moving at great speed. (The Eagle and the Lark)
Previous Saros “7 South” eclipses in Ms M’s lifetime:
September 11, 1969, 18°53’ Virgo
September 23, 1987, 29°34’ Virgo
October 3, 2005, 10°19’ Libra
Not quite as depressing for me personally.
Whatever Shall We Do?
1) Determine which of your natal houses this eclipse falls in.
2) Determine whether the eclipse makes an aspect to anything in your chart. Use a 1° orb. In my case, the conjunctions, squares, sesquiquads (135°), inconjuncts, and oppositions made the most obvious impacts.
3) If there is a close aspect to a planet, check to see which house(s) that planet rules. One South Node eclipse was conjunct the ruler of my natal 4th House, and I moved three months later.
4) Avoid strenuously negative thoughts. If you put a lot of energy into anticipating that something is going to be horrible and painful and disastrous, well, guess what - that’s exactly what’s going to happen. If you catch yourself falling into a panic, try to refocus the energy into “the best possible outcome.”

Update on Barry Humphries and Asteroid Edna
Dame Edna once said that she would not be suprised if they adored her on Mars. In 2000 she became successful in the States and it must have seemed she had conquered the world.
So when I found the asteroid Edna – her namesake-I though it was fitting. A personal name asteroid can have significance in a chart especally if it conjuncts any of he personal planets. It’s as if the personal story is written in the stars. Edna is up there too- a self-appointed megastar.
Asteroid Edna (455) was discovered in California in 1899 so that links Barry Humphries to the ‘mauve’ he so adored and whose literature and artwork he collected. Asteroid Edna orbits between Mars and Jupiter and these two planets rarely hold back except when in retrograde.
We are approaching the solar return of Barry Humphries (17/2/1934) but in fact it has already passed- on the 15th February when the Sun is at 27° of Aquarius where it was when he was born. And where is asteroid Edna? Edna sits currently at 10° of Aries conjunct Venus which is about to go retrograde in a week’s time. Is there a message from beyond here? I think there’s a kind of Venus dance going on. The emphasis is on Love, the caring and sharing kind as Dame Edna often said was her unique gift to the world. It was said that Dame Edna has the extraordinary ability to make ordinary people feel special and special people feel ordinary.
Venus is also the arts and entertainment, showing off with outrageous clothes and jewellery- even bling- the Sydney Opera House dress, the Breakfast Dress, the Edvard Munch ‘Scream’ dress which he wore when he heard that the ‘Scream’ was Barbra Streisand's favourite painting. The character of Edna was based on a lady mayoress in Melbourne who was a patron of the arts.
Edna and Venus in Aries here reminds me of the time when Dame Edna appeared on TV in a ‘spunky punky’ outfit she claimed was designed by Zandra Rhodes. This was very Venus in Aries, unapologetic, fast-moving and not at all the same as when she is in Pisces. Dame Edna could not be outwitted ever- many tried like Tracy Emin and Boris Johnson, but were scorched by the Dame who was always one step ahead.
Many of those witticisms have now become legendary- check Dame Edna with K.D. Lang, with Lenny Henry, with Judi Dench and with Tom Jones- all on 'You Tube'.
This degree also happens to be the point where Humprhies had his Part of Fortune at 5° of Aries. And Edna certainly made him a lot of money. It is also the point where there is a Partial Solar Eclipse on March 29th at 8° .
Barry Humphries natal chart has Venus at 8° of Aquarius so that sextiles this Venus conjunct asteroid Edna radiating good vibes. And that is how I’d like to remember him. One of his last shows was called ‘Eat, Pray, Laugh’. So laughing and loving could be equated.
He died in April of 2023- almost two years ago and there has never been a more vibrant, a sharper wit than Mr Humphries who said in his own self written obituary, that of the ultimate satirist, that Humphries had become merely a footnote in Dame Edna’s “more spectacular career”.

Kumbh Sankranti 2025: The Sun entering Aquarius
Today, February 12th 2025 at exactly 17:10 Paris time, Surya (Sun) enters into Kumbh (Aquarius) sign of the zodiac.
Kumbh Sankranti is for me a special time of year as my Lagna (Ascendant) is Kumbh and these past 2.5 years, my ascendant lord Saturn has therefore been transiting my first house. And I can say that the "me" before summer 2022 and the me of today have not too much in common - it was quite a transformational transit.
What's special for the past three years is that every transit of the Sun through the sign of Aquarius has been a particularly difficult one, as it also brought about a conjunction of two major celestial ennemies: the Sun and Saturn are not well together.
People born between the 11th of February and the 14th of March had probably particularly difficult day during this month between 2023 and 2025.
The Sun is the emperor, it's the absolute ruler and enforcer of a strict hierarchy. In the vedic tradition, Shani (Saturn) is a bastard son of the sun god Surya, and he rejects his father. Saturn is the big democrat of the sky, someone who wants that the rules apply to all and someone who does not recognise any hierarchy, especially not one that is not well merited through hard work and suffering: the birth lottery should not exist according to Saturn.
Also on the level of the five Bhutas (Pancha Bhuta), both are very different. While the Sun is hot and fiery, Saturn is the master of the element air, but in Saturn's case it's a cold and slow moving air. Talking of the ayurvedic doshas, Sun is fiery pitta and Saturn is vata.
The conjunction between Sun and Saturn happens annually, so it's obviously not the end of the world, but it's never an easy time. Especially versus the end of the transit, arount March 11, when the conjunction is at its strongest, the sun burns (combusts) Saturn and weakens him, all the while Saturn is in his own sign and dignity, so very strong.
Add the eclipses (lunar then solar) around that time and we're in for even mor turbulent times, also on the world and political scene (would you believe....).
In my personal case, the sun entering my ascendant sign at this time of year has another strong significance: on February 20th I start a new planetary sub-period. After nearly three years of a sub-period of Venus, a short but probably intense sub-period of the Sun will succeed, between then and the end of December.
While my main period of Mercury stays the same, my natal sun has some very important significations around my health and longevity, my inner transformation, my progress in the world of the occult, but also - looking at some of my divisional charts - for my ability to find and keep a job and to earn money, ultimately to get rid of very old and oppressing debt.
So my hopes are high for 2025: I do a lot of vedic (mantra and other) practices around the Sun, among others, and will re-inforce them now.
For those interested in Vedic Astrology or "Jyôtish", hit me up if you want to book a consultation. They are not free but I am reguarly told that they are powerful and transformative to my clients.
And if you want to learn more about the vedic conception of the Sun, I can recommend a short but insightful book that covers the major aspects of the Sun God Surya in vedic tradition, mythology, astrology and yoga.
Sarva Mangalam!

Cute ZR cycle!
I've been tracking the ZR dates of my solar return chart as well as my natal chart and for some reason this year the solar return dates are hitting more obviously lol
I'm a Sagittarius rising with an Aquarius moon this year for my solar return and this ZR cycle was in Aquarius so happening in my 3H
April 3 - Start - This day I wrote a journal entry about how there is so much shame intertwined with health for me bc my fam would shame you for being healthy or unhealthy! Fitting that it's in the 3H and I was working through this by writing. I also saw two angel numbers that day and one was 2368 "it is up to you to make your life better" and 3285 "fall in love with becoming better" so I just started making a plan for what I wanted for various health things and how I would get it and I started working on it!
April 26 - LB - This is the day I hit two weeks of doing my face skin care daily! I started tracking it in my notes app with a check mark every day! Again fitting bc 3H and I'm building a habit and it's a build up from the start date bc I sent friends pics of my skin "before" and told them I was doing this and I didn't feel any shame about it. It was exciting to just have it be a factual thing that I was doing and nothing more! And two of my friends were like I have the same problem I'm going to do it too! Now we're all doing it together it's so cute!
May 17 - Completion - I hit 5 weeks of daily use this day! I also added a new product to my skin care this day! But the major event I think is that I got free moisturizer! There's this brand I used to use and love in 2021 and 2022 and when Saturn went into Pisces in March 2023 I went to go buy some more and it was DISCONTINUED! I was devastated and assumed it was just 1H saturn return woes lol randomly decided to look them up again and saw the company wasn't closed and they still had the moisturizer but I couldn't figure out where to get it so I DMed them and they told me it's only sold in canada at the moment but they would send me one for free!! I was so excited!
I feel like this was my reward for building the habit and keeping up with it! I think the main lesson here was that the shame I was feeling wasn't mine to feel tbh bc why am I caring about what these people think and have to say when I know they talk with no basis for things all the time lmao

Welcome to A House Made of Moonlight
Saturn in Pisces lives in my 4th House, the House ruled by Cancer, which in turn is ruled by the Moon. The 4th House governs home and ancestry and parenthood. But it also rules what happens during our childhood and youth. The sign and planets in the 4th House point towards our origins and our inheritance.
The 4th House, incidentally, opposes the 10th, which is ruled by Capricorn and, therefore, Saturn. To have Saturn opposite its House, yet in the House of home suggests to me that there’s a conversation happening in my chart and through my life about what it means to be home and where home really is. To have Saturn in the 4th House is to have had stability and discipline in the home. And in fact I did have that when I was growing up, and I seek that still.
But then there’s the question of Pisces, the sign of dreams and psychic powers of the imagination and the spirit and the magic of the universe that we can’t understand. Pisces rules The Moon in the Rider-Waite Smith Tarot.
Pisces’ domain is sleep and mystical trance: states of consciousness that connect us to something stranger or larger than our five senses can. I imagine Pisces as an aura, not unlike the rings around Saturn demarcating the energetic boundary of the planet outside of its atmosphere. Pisces is the opposite of home and structure. It’s the far-out cosmos, the release from our physical forms, a total lack of human-made rules, an endless infinity that can’t be walled in. To have that energy exploding the seams of a 4th House holding Saturn... what does that mean for me? How does that play out in my identity and in the events that thread together my lifetime?
Saturn tilted onto 0° Pisces on March 7, 2023, the exact degree that Saturn is at in my birth chart. In 2020, when most of my friends my age began their Saturn Return in Aquarius, I realized that I was in the unique position of being a bit behind everyone. Saturn was retrograde when I was born, having slipped into Pisces for just a few days between the end of May and June in 1993.
My Saturn in Pisces is such a mysterious placement. It felt very mystical to learn that by fluke (or maybe not, I was born a couple of weeks late), I’d experience my Saturn Return later than others born the same year I was.
In many ways, the Saturn Return is a chance to go back to the moment of one’s birth. For me, its a return to a house made of moonlight: a place that is formless and yet has a form that’s defined by something ephemeral and immaterial. To sit inside of my natal 4th House with Saturn in Pisces once again is to be in the house—walls, foundations, boundaries, limits: Saturn—made of moonlight—immaterial, dreamy, limitless: Pisces.
My Saturn in Pisces in the 4th House is a stranger to me and so, to get to know it a little better, I want to document my experiences through my Saturn Return here, with the hope of learning more about this placement in my chart and about myself as I move through one of life’s most radically transformative phases. And this space, A House Made of Moonlight, is where I will do just that through written reflections and cataloging a collection of the symbolic imagery that visits me along the way.

Late Bloomer Boyfriend: Bang Chan
Disclaimer: This post is for entertainment purposes only. Think about it. Have hard thoughts. Don't take it too seriously.
18+ only.

Also, this pic...omg, it makes me want to write a 10 day Daddy!Chan series because I am drooling violently.
I am going to tentatively say that out all of my late bloomer boyfriend analysis THUS FAR.
Bang Chan.
Daddy Chan.
Would be THE BEST late bloomer boyfriend and here is WHY...
Firstly, the man has a very obvious caregiver complex (at least, I think it's very obvious) and so he naturally attracts/is attracted to people who don't feel understood or 'seen' in life because his Libra stellium naturally makes him very empathetic and a naturally caring person.
People who tend to be a 'late bloomer' in life usually do have some insecurities about themselves because it's just almost impossible not too??
And Bang Chan's Mars in the 7th House means he is attracted to transformative relationships and people that help him 'grow' and discover traits and flaws about himself.
Being someone's first ever partner would encourage Bang Chan to hone different skills like patience, communication and emotional intimacy whilst also encouraging him to discover different parts of himself.
You would be his own personal project in a way, which can be seen as positive or negative depending on Chan's maturity level.
At Chan's worst, he could see you as a project to 'fix' or a vision to work on because it helps him build his self-esteem, that he's helping someone 'heal' and he could unconsciously put you into 'victim' mode and cause you to unnecessarily restrict yourself, just show he can come back and 'fix' you again.
Bang Chan would be a great 'first ever' boyfriend those little 'milestones' in relationships that experienced people might take for granted, he would celebrate them with you.
He's the first man you bring home to your family? You'll best believe he'll dress up and maybe even bring some flowers.
It's your first Valentines Day ever with a partner? He'll go all out and make it the most cliche and corniest of experiences ever.
Okay, let's talk about the seggsy stuff.
Look, the whole 'Daddy' persona is not as far-fetched as we believe.
I'm not going to say that Chan 100% has a thing for being called 'Daddy'.
But the chances of him enjoying it are pretty high.
And I also have to point out that I'm not saying that Chan would be into age-play or ddlg, I'm saying that Chan would probably enjoy being called 'Daddy' as a term of endearment.
Because I have to continuously say this but age-play/age regression is a form of lifestyle whereas calling someone 'Daddy' only in intimate situations is just a term of authority.
Chan would enjoy knowing that he's being the first to explore this area with you, to show you things you haven't discovered for yourself, to see you react to him and only him.
'How does that feel babygirl? Does that feel good? You look so beautiful under me right now, doing so well'.
And with Chan, it would seem like he's cool right? That he has everything under control.
But his cool persona hides a lot of emotional temperament and a constant desire to feel NEEDED.
And you best believe this side of him would show when you're under the sheets with him.
'Babygirl, you need Daddy to make you feel good don't you? You need me to take care of you and I will, whenever you need because you're MY babygirl'.
Now, on a worst level.
Chan could weaponise your inexperience and use it against you, manipulate and victimise you into how much you need him in your life.
'You couldn't even make yourself cum if it weren't for my help. You could never take care of yourself like how I can take care of you'
But on a positive level,
You would feel SAFE, protected, nurtured and appreciated, Chan's love for you would be so powerful, you would never ever doubt his affection for you.
'You make me so happy, I just want to care for you, protect you, love you. Are you going to let me babygirl?'
I also LOATHE the term 'babygirl'.
But it's just such a Chan thing to say, he is the only one that can make the term sound so sweet and sexy.

2023 Important Dates
AKA my notes on The Astrology Podcast’s 2023 Forecast_, hosted by Chris Brennan, Austin Coppock, Leisa Schaim and Diana Rose Parker. As a recap of previous events our hosts connect recent AI art controversies to Venus squaring Neptune (artists vs illusions), and predicts that the Pluto in Aquarius transit will intensify these debates. Saturn in late Aquarius has seen the first successful energy-emitting controlled nuclear fusion reaction, and Austin points out that new technologies often take around 30 years, or a complete Saturn cycle, to show up in everyday life.
Major Transits
Mars Retrograde -stations direct January 12th -egress to Taurus March 25th
Saturn from Aquarius -> Pisces -ingress March 7th -begins conjunction with Neptune In the writing previous runs of Saturn in Pisces have shown us influential fantasy worlds like those of Dune (without which there’d be no Star Wars) in the mid-1960s and A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) in the 1990s, as well as nonfiction like The Communist Manifesto in the 1840s. Saturn in Pisces has also shown up in drug news, such as the synthesis of LSD, which may connect to psychedelics starting to be legalized for therapeutic use today. If these significations seem Neptunian, that’s because Saturn is copresent with Neptune in this sign. They’ll be within orb in 2025 and '26, going exact in February of 2026. This sign will also be the Saturn return of Amazon and Fox News, and in biology that of the successful cloning of Dolly the sheep. In natal charts we have the examples of Robert Downey, Jr., whose Saturn return marked a turning point in his substance use issues and career, and Rachel Carson, a biologist whose book about the effects of pesticides in our world helped launch an environmentalist movement. In general we can expect “problems with chemicals.” Pisces wants us to all be one, but Saturn reminds us how one part is hurting people more than others.
How do you put boundaries on the boundless? You may feel like you’re floating, but even the ocean has a floor. Diana predicts we may see more collective grief over lost loved ones or what could have been during the height of the pandemic. It’s also worth noting that Saturn has been in his own domicile for the last few years. Now he’s ruled by Jupiter, who will be in a different sign every year, lending a different quality to Saturn’s transit.
Pluto in Aquarius (March 23rd - June 11th) A previous example of this transit is the Luddite movement against both the technology and labor conditions of the Industrial Revolution in the late 18th century. Austin predicts this to weigh on the AI conversation and Diana brings up that the recent labor movement will also factor in. Chris reminds us that Pluto takes the tiniest things and blow them up to wide importance. Pluto in Aquarius coincided with the Hatian and French Revolutions as well.
Jupiter in Aries until May 16th -in Taurus for rest of the year -begins conjunction to Uranus Jupiter immediately squares Pluto (0♒) when he enters this sign. Jupiter-Pluto contacts have shown us billionaires further expanding their wealth and explosions of conspiracy theories in recent years. Revolutions and movements questioning the good of the people & basic needs will be especially relevant in Taurus. Jupiter predicts cultural waves in both art and politics, which will be especially relevant now that he’s ruled by Venus. Similarly, Diana hopes we see new food inventions such as advances with fake meats (M&M’s were invented during the last Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Taurus). Jupiter will come in and confirm things that Uranus has been working on, such as the rising labor movement (40 hour work week was standardized under one). In this case, the innovation is rest.
Venus Retrograde in Leo (July 22nd - September 3rd)
Venus transits are on cycles of about 8 years, so expect to revisit themes from around 2014. The US Supreme court legalizing same-sex marriage (conjunct Jupiter), and our podcast hosts started working together. Are any important relationships coming up on 8 years? (Austin, who met his wife and later got married on Venus in Leo, jokingly recommends waiting a full Venus cycle to commit). Shortly after entering Leo, Venus squares Jupiter and approaches Mars--but slows down and retrogrades before overcoming him (unlike in 2020). This retrograde is also tinged by a square to Uranus, though Jupiter’s copresence may stabilize things a bit. Sense of self will be a key theme here, especially in relationships. After the rx, when she enters Virgo early in October, where Saturn in Pisces will hit her like a cold bucket of water.
Eclipses shift from Taurus/Scorpio axis to Aries/Libra axis
Month-by-Month:
January
The Mars retrograde and direct station on the 12th hangs pretty heavily over this January. Mars is supercharged by the fact that royal star Aldebaran is nearby, which can bode better for personal charts than world news. However, keep in mind that the effects will move more slowly, and that a direct Mars is still a malefic--we march forward, but into battle just yet. Expect conclusions or major turning points in conflicts that began at the retrograde's start in early October. We'll still be seeing some cleanup as he enters the post shadow period (leaves degrees he retrograded over) on the 15th. Here's the graphic from Stella on Reddit:
Mar's ruler Mercury is also retrograde going into January, and stations on the 18th. It's almost like Mars won't be fully direct until Mercury is too. It might not be fun to cut things off, but it's better than flailing around wildly with the knife. Once both these planets are direct, Jupiter in Aries will pick up a lot of momentum. The Mercury retrogrades this year will mainly occur in earth signs, so prepare to reevaluate the material realms in your life.
It's also worth noting that the US Pluto return goes exact a few days before 2023 starts, and Pluto will return to these degrees when retrograding in September. With a conjunction to Mercury we can expect to see more disclosures around hidden information about those in power.
Speaking of outer planets, the Saturn (♒)-Uranus (♉) square that's been plaguing us for the past couple years will finally fade as we enter the year. The conflict of chaos & order over society and basic needs will finally fade. With Saturn in Pisces, no one's in control!
We've got an electional chart for January 25, 2023 at about 7:20AM local time. Adjust until the rising is at about 5 degrees of Aquarius, putting the Sun right on the Ascendant. This is one of the last charts for great Saturn elections for the next 30 years or so, as he's in domicile, in the first house and of the favored sect. Great for technology, rapid communications, and endeavors that will start out slow but last for a long time. Venus in the first house will help smooth over the aesthetics of this election as well. Here is the circle chart for Denver below:
February
Valentine's Day is a little weird with Moon opposite Mars, followed by a Venus-Neptune conjunction the next day and a Saturn-Sun conjunction even after, where emotional conflict runs into idealistic dreams, which is soon crushed by reality. The Full Moon on February 5th at 16 Leo close to Uranus at 15 Taurus activates the last of that waning Saturn-Uranus square, while the Saturn-Sun square on the 16th is the last Sun-Saturn conjunction in a Saturn-ruled sign for the next couple decades. We can clearly assess what's real and make a final inspection of the wreckage from Saturn-Uranus's stress-testing. Whatever made it through the Aquarius part of your chart has a lot of endurance.
March
March calendar. 3/2 Venus conjunct Jupiter, Mercury to Pisces. 3/5 Saturn to Pisces, Virgo full moon. 3/15 Sun conjunct Neptune, 3/16 Venus to Taurus, 3/17 Sun conjunct Mercury. 3/19 Mercury to Aries, 3/20 Sun to Aries, 3/21 Aries New Moon. 3/23 Pluto to Aquarius, 3/25 Mars to Cancer, 3/28 Mercury conjunct Jupiter, 3/30 Venus conjunct Uranus.
March is a big, dynamic month full of shifts. Mars (♊) leaves the mutable signs alone and tags in Saturn (♓) to do so instead. Medieval and Arabic astrologers often counted the Sun's ingress into Aries as the start of the New Year for the world, which fits with this month bringing so many new beginnings. We're going to get two New Moons during Aries season, one of which is an eclipse, so expect a lot of Aries energy. Around the Ides of March we've got Mercury conjoining Neptune at 25 Pisces, then the Sun, with Mars at 25 Pisces squaring them, al while Venus in late Aries square Pluto in late Capricorn. These transits also highlight the third Mars-Neptune square of the latter's trek through Gemini--it's our last chance to reveal what's been murky before Mars leaves his shadow period and the sign of Gemini overall. Mars-Gemini gives us fighting words and Mars-Neptune gives us deception, so be careful where you step in the fog of war.
Mercury is doing pretty badly at the beginning of the month, being combust, squared by Mars, and stuck around Neptune--our intelligence reports will not be accurate or timely. The next week Pluto moves into Aquarius. Chris wonders if this may result in a mass disappearing of certain kinds of technology. This area of Aquarius has seen a lot of activity from Saturn and Jupiter in recent years, and Pluto will deepen those issues for a couple months before retrograding in the fall. Venus will conjoin Uranus on the degree of November's eclipse in Taurus, which can make relationships more exciting. Mars moves into Cancer, trining Saturn on the 29th-30th. It's not a particularly glorious place for Mars, but we're finally getting back to Mars as usual (direct). We may be sullen, but at least we're not shooting ourselves in the foot anymore.
April
This month gives us eclipse season and the second Mercury retrograde of year. We also get a Jupiter-Sun cazimi in Aries, resetting the Jupiter cycle for the next year. The hybrid solar eclipse eclipse will be annular for some regions and total for others (visible over the South Pacific, mostly). Here are the eclipses for 2023:
Both eclipse seasons go back and forth between the Aries-Libra and Taurus-Scorpio axis as the nodes move. Additionally, the spring eclipses are in Mars-ruled signs with Mars in Cancer, while the fall eclipses are ruled by Venus in Virgo. Thus we're moving from one Mars-Venus axis to another, with the eclipse ruler in either fall or detriment. In personal charts, this will be highlighting two sets of houses for us all. Once April 19th or so comes around, we'll find ourselves between eclipses with Mercury retrograde and Jupiter joining the North Node--a bit of a hangover from the Uranus in Taurus issues we've been seeing. Definitely expect more shipping and supply chain issues. Mercury's retrograde cycle will continue through to the next month.
May
The first of the month gives us the Mercury cazimi, which is a halfway point & turning point for the retrograde. With Pluto's station, we've got a lot of changes occurring in May. The eclipse is at 14 Scorpio, echoing the previous Uranus eclipse in November in Taurus. However, this is the final eclipse in Scorpio (though there's one more in Taurus) for the next few years. We'd expect the pressure to ease from fixed signs now that heavy-hitters are moving into mutable and cardinal signs, but the fixed signs are still feeling some residual effects for the first half of the year. Jupiter ingress will attempt to stabilize some of the trouble as he enters Taurus. His squaring Pluto and later Mars in Leo will bring some tension as well, though. Diana thinks of forest fires with Mars in Leo, with Pluto in Aquarius serving as a sudden gust of wind. Jupiter is on the North Node as well, who'll cooperate with Jovian money endeavors but not his loftier pursuits. Pay attention to which house of your chart Jupiter enters, as he may provide some stability to the rockiness we've been seeing in Taurus since the lunar eclipse in fall of 2021.
When Jupiter conjoined Pluto in 2020 there was a massive expansion of wealth for the already wealthy, and now with a square between the planets we could see a more proletarian version of wealth expanding (or at least some kind of struggle around it). Pluto's station in Aquarius should also give us a picture of his trek through this sign over the next decade or so. Conversations around control and manipulation of information may arise, which Chris connects to social media as one of the richest men in the world just bought a widely used website. Diana brings up that these apps are often intentionally designed to encourage addictive behavior, so Pluto's compulsions and obsessions and tendency to expose the dark underbelly will manifest in the tech world. We may see a contraction in tech, as issues of power and control over social networks and other large scale communications arise. Is this paranoia or rational fear?
June
Venus now enters sign in which she will retrograde, hinting at the territory we'll visit multiple times. She's approaching Mars and opposite Pluto, intensifying relationship dynamics. However she's also applying to Jupiter in her sign of Taurus, stabilizing things a little. Venus and Mars will square Uranus together before she retrogrades. Meanwhile Neptune and Saturn slow down and station, bringing emotional drag as they square our chipper Gemini Sun. When Saturn enters Cancer, the sextile to Jupiter in Taurus may bring some fertile clay for creative, sensitive, or peaceful endeavors. The overall energy is pretty loud and extroverted: if people find something distasteful, they won't be quiet about it! However, we may not see the stormy emotional undercurrents underneath this acting out.
July
Venus will square Uranus at the beginning of this month, slowing down before going retrograde on the 22nd. Mercury enters Virgo, heightening the tension between Saturn (♓) and Mars (♊). Mars-Saturn squares in the fixed signs gave us new editions of a problem we already knew about (notably changes in lockdowns and restrictions during peaks of the pandemic in the US), but in mutable signs we may get introduced to new problems nearby. Either way, Saturn stonewalls Mars's impulses. Saturn and Mars get frustrated because one's hitting the gas while the other hits the brakes, but Venus stops the car entirely and starts driving in reverse towards unfinished business earlier in the trip. Pluto will also square the Nodes in Aries/Libra after regressing into Pluto. Chris points out that gay marriage was legalized in the US under Venus in Leo, so this retrograde may see challenges to Congress's recent Defense of Marriage Act. She's also stationing right next to Lilith and considering Pluto's activity, so Austin predicts abortion will come up again, as Lilith was right over the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
August
Venus retrograde hangs over this month, although her cazimi on the 13th marks its halfway point. Inanna confronts her sister in the underworld and begins to get carried out. Venus emerges from under the beams right as she squares supportive Jupiter. Mercury begins to slow down and stations retrograde with Mars as a neighbor. Constructively, we can edit and cut things down, but interpersonally we may share harsh words. The Full Moon in Pisces will be tinged by Saturn's copresence, especially because it occurs on the degree on which Saturn stationed in June. We get a taste of what Pisces is going to feel like for the next few years, though Jupiter's sextile immediately after provides some support. It's soggy and wet, but we can grow things.
September
Mercury is the only planet in domicile for the whole month: retrograde the first half and direct for the second. With exaltation in Virgo as well, he's at his loudest! Mars is also in Libra as we enter the month, approaching a square to Pluto and a conjunction to the South Node (Tail of the Dragon) towards the end of the month, as well as a sextile to Venus. The Aries Full Moon will be eventful as a result of all this Mars activity.
October
We've got two eclipses this month as we revisit Pluto in Capricorn themes (including the founding of the US--think bones of the institutions that built the nation). Mars conjoins the South Node in the days preceding the eclipse, and squares Pluto days before he stations direct. Venus in Virgo makes us eager to critique, which is especially relevant to the US's upcoming elections season. The eclipses in Libra and Taurus will also bring major beginnings and endings to these areas of our charts. The solar eclipse at 21 Libra is a South node eclipse, which usually brings up things we've already dealt with--think "the unquiet dead." The Taurus eclipse right before Halloween has Mercury conjunct Mars opposite Jupiter. Mercury-Mars can be combative with piercing words. They will spitefully challenge the peace, stability, and excessive comfort Jupiter in Taurus has been trying to bring. However, this is the last of the fixed sign eclipses that started in 2021, bringing a major ending to that chapter of our lives. There's one more wild card with Jupiter approaching Uranus, but it's a more constructive energy, like finally being able to implement the changes we want.
November
This new Moon is the first one for awhile that's not an eclipse, and Saturn's significations in Pisces should intensify as he stations direct. Venus in Libra sextile Mercury in Sagittarius will bring us some pleasant communications and decorum. "I didn't mean what I said when Mercury was conjunct Mars!" Mars's cazimi with the Sun acts like a coal nearby that's glowing with the potential for a fire that isn't burning right now--at least until he opposes Uranus, when the tension that's been building up may find an outlet. The Mars cazimi is also trine Neptune, which may add some ease.
December
Mercury will station direct a few days after Jupiter--things will move forward at the end of the year. Venus in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Taurus will be in mutual reception with each other, bringing the two goods to us after some brooding in Scorpio. During Venus in Scorpio we might get the kinds of fights started by someone misunderstanding what your words--you can't take back what you didn't say! The tight opposition to Jupiter at the beginning of Venus in Scorpio can be fun, if not particularly useful. A trine from Saturn can make Scorpio Venus's obsessions more productive.
And that's a wrap for 2023! Thanks for reading all of this (:

Energy Update: Saturn enters Pisces 3/7/2023
Today, under the light of our Virgo full moon, Saturn leaves behind the structure of fixed Aquarius for the amalgamous, mutable energy of Pisces. This is a big deal - Saturn stays in any given sign for three years and his sojourn through the signs sets the feeling of time as we experience it.
It is worth noting that while Saturn was in the fixed air sign of Aquarius we experienced a global airborne pandemic that forced us away from society (which Aquarius rulers) and keep us inside our own houses (see also: the unmoving nature of the fixed signs). Saturn entered Aquarius in March of 2020 as the lockdowns were being enacted and we can expect (even more of) the pandemic restrictions to be lifted as time moves on and we enter the season of Saturn in Aquarius.* There is reason to hope that this switchover will end the pandemic altogether, but only time will tell if that comes to pass. Pisces is a very different beast from Aquarius. Where Aquarius holds accountable, corrects, and ultimately changes through the intense combination of its two rulers (Saturn and Uranus); Pisces uses Neptune's energy to dissolve and (hopefully) unify.
Many astrologers like to tout the exalted Piscean virtues of blending and melding together, dissolving boundaries, and universal love. It is worth noting, almost immediately here, that these traits are anathema to the concept of Saturnian time. Saturn widdles us away to the cores of who we are. Saturn controls and corrects to show you what is important. Pisces would like to believe that everything, if melded back into primordial goo, can be equally important but Saturn would like to state that we have moved far beyond the primordial goo phase of existence. Pisces does not want boundaries and accountability and Saturn is made of boundaries and accountability. This conflict is what we are going to have to sit in and process as he makes his slow journey over the next three years. Perhaps it can be said that Pisces NEEDS to constrictive energy of Saturn because universal love without boundaries sounds an awful lot like co-dependency. Perhaps Saturn NEEDS Pisces to be reminded to soften those hard edges.
We will all fall somewhere on that spectrum (based on our own personal charts and life experiences) and where we fall on that spectrum will likely impact how we experience this three-year transit. Nobody is exempt from the pressures that Saturn brings to the table it will affect us all on both a personal level and globally. This transit will most specifically affect individuals with a strong Piscean impact in their natal birth charts and especially those who were born with Saturn IN Pisces who will be experiencing this transit as their Saturn Return. Themes that involve both Piscean and Saturnian energies:
Forgiveness that comes with a heavy dose of responsibility
Healthy boundaries that are both strong AND flexible
Accepting accountability with grace
Daydreaming that leads to constructive planning for the future
Universal love with strong personal boundaries
Social services like UBI or universal healthcare
There is a lot of good that may come of this Saturnian transit but it is the kind of good that you need to take active steps to work for in your life. Saturn demands that you step away from the idea that you can just dream your way into the future (very immature Piscean energy there) and put one foot in front of another to walk towards that fucking goal. If you don't have the effort in you, this is going to be a hard go of things. There's no way around that.
This is a good transit to use towards putting the work into strengthening your spiritual gifts - that is a lovely combination of Piscean and Saturnian energies. But this does come with a caveat (it always does): remember that all that glitters is not gold. Pisces, being the last sign of the horoscope wheel that is ruled by the 12th house of the unconscious, can attract some real creepers if you know what I mean. Not everything that's "for sale" during this three-year transit is going to be for your own good so if you're the gullible type, I suggest putting your skeptic glasses on, stat. If it looks too easy or too good to be true, it probably is. And if it is, it's gonna be extra hard because Saturn is here to rub that lesson right in.
It'll be a wild ride. Pack a life vest if you don't like going off the deep end because this shit is gonna go deep.
*This is not a judgment call on whether restrictions SHOULD be lifted mind you, just an observation of the way that Saturn's influence impacts the many societies of our world.

Transit Saturn in the 2nd house: Olivia Rodrigo’s Million Dollar Loss
Olivia Rodrigo had to give credit to a few artists in the summer of 2021 for borrowing inspiration from their work for some of her songs on her album "SOUR." This decision cost her millions of dollars.
Here’s what was going on in her natal chart at the time.
Mercury and Neptune in the 2nd house
Olivia has a tight conjunction between Mercury and Neptune in the 2nd house. Both of these planets suggest that Olivia may earn a living via her creative ideas.
In the sign of Aquarius, it denotes someone who is one step ahead of the crowd and has the ability to inspire large communities with their talent. Aquarius is the one with brilliant and unconventional ideas who feed society in order for it to progress. Olivia's album was a strong driver for the revival of the 00s pop-rock sound.
Transit Saturn in the 2nd house
Olivia's loss was caused by Saturn's transit.
Saturn represents a heavy load that falls on our shoulders, forcing us to mature. We have learnt a valuable lesson and have lost some of our naiveté as a result of a Saturn transit.
This planet also depicts those with greater authority and experience than ourselves. Saturn, in this scenario, symbolized the older artists who wanted credit on Olivia’s work.
Saturn was retrograde and forming conjunctions with Neptune and Mercury during the summer of 2021. Something significant was about to happen regarding something Olivia owned (2nd house), and it involved a group of people (Aquarius). It would limit her creativity and make her depressed for a few months (Saturn’s conjunction with Mercury-Neptune). Her creative freedom was limited. The retrograde motion of Saturn denotes the unexpected interest of various artists in Olivia's work following the great success of "SOUR."
In February-March 2023, she will experience another significant transit involving Saturn and her 2nd house: Saturn conjunct Uranus. Her financial problems are not over. Something bigger than her will try to take control of what she own, once again.
